Interlocking concrete paver

A dry-cast concrete paving unit designed so adjacent units transfer load to each other through sand-filled joints.

Interlock is what separates a paver system from individual stepping stones. Vertical, rotational and horizontal interlock develop when units are tightly jointed, edge restrained and compacted, letting the surface distribute wheel loads across many units instead of one.
